Giving back is super important to us.
We want to be able to give back for everything that is given to us. That is why, for every project we complete, we will give $50 to Samaritan’s Purse. So, when you come to VMS Construction, not only will you receive the best and highest quality custom pole barn Pennsylvania has to offer, but you will also be helping to give back to a great cause.

What is Samaritan’s Purse?

Samaritan’s Purse was started by a man by the name of Bob Pierce who was traveling throughout Asia. Pierce was inspired by other missionaries and so he made it his life’s work to seek out and support other Christians who were putting their lives and well-being on the line to help others and share the love of Jesus. He eventually met his would be successor, Franklin Graham. Graham traveled around with Pierce and went on several missions with him. Graham saw, first hand, the controlling grip of poverty and suffering that other countries and religions had to endure. He wanted to support those suffering, and he wanted to support those who put their own lives and resources on the line to aid those suffering. While we are just a humble custom pole barn Pennsylvania business, we want to be able to give back to those who are making a difference.

What does Samaritan’s Purse do?

Samaritan’s Purse does a multitude of things now such as international crisis response, teaching and discipleship across the world, U.S. Disaster Relief, and they have numerous projects such as care for veterans, and the Children’s Heart Project.

Not only do they help out with crises and disasters both foreign and domestically, but Samaritan’s Purse also has many programs that are aimed at specific things. One of these things is “The Greatest Journey.” This is a discipleship course where children learn how to follow Christ and share Him with others. For every $6 that you give, Samaritan’s Purse is able to equip the teachers and give one more student that opportunity. So, when you come to VMS Construction for your custom pole barn Pennsylvania needs, we give $50 per completed project and so by using us, you are also helping at least 8 children grow in their walk and faith.

Another project of Samaritan’s Purse is the “Operation Heal Our Patriots.” This is a week retreat in Alaska where veterans come to repair and renew their war-wounded relationships with their spouse or significant other. The couples go through a six-day, chaplain-led, coursework experience with Biblically based marriage enrichment training, and spiritual counseling. Not only that, but they get to enjoy and take part in activities together at Lake Clark National Park. This is a chance to get-away, and to focus on mending what has been broken. It’s a chance for the couples to connect and renew their marriage on the basis of something deeper than themselves. The couples also get the opportunity to meet other couples that have gone through the same thing or something similar, so they know they’re not alone.

Where does Samaritan’s Purse serve?

Samaritan’s Purse literally serves all over the world. As mentioned, they have the “Operation Heal Our Patriots” in Alaska. They do International Crisis Response and they have pre-positioned warehouses specifically placed around the world so that when a crisis happens, they can quickly respond with supplies and assistance.
Samaritan’s Purse travels around the world installing filtration systems for communities that can purify up to 10,000 gallons per day which can provide for approximately 2,500 people! They also stock hospitals and clinics with medical supplies all over the world and often send fully equipped medical teams to areas that don’t have access to other medical help.
They’re not just a humble custom pole barn Pennsylvania business like VMS Construction. They have bases of operations all over the world. Samaritan’s Purse’s International Headquarters are in North Carolina, USA, but they have bases in Australia, Canada, Germany, Korea, and the United Kingdom.

If you want to see all the different places they travel, you can check out their website and news. It will show you where they go and what they do, and then you really will see that they travel all over the world helping where and with what they can.

Why do we give back to Samaritan’s Purse?

As mentioned, we may just be a custom pole barn Pennsylvania business, but we want to give back too. We want to give to Samaritan’s Purse, because we recognize and appreciate that they are actively out in the world trying to make a difference. They move all over the world to help where and how they can. Whether it is an international crisis, or a local disaster. If a community needs clean water, food, medical supplies, basic necessities; it doesn’t matter

If you want to give to Samaritan’s Purse and help support those who are making a difference, just know that our goals align with yours. Know that when you have us design and build your custom pole barn, you can achieve your personal goal of having a pole barn as well as the goal of helping to make a difference in other people’s lives. When you have VMS Construction build for you, we will donate $50 to Samaritan’s Purse for every project completed. We are all in this together.

How can you give back to Samaritan’s Purse?

Giving inspires all of us. In fact, the reason VMS chooses to give back to Samaritan’s Purse is because they so freely give their own time and resources to help others. They give, and so we give. If you would like to give as well, choose VMS Construction to build your pole barns, hobby barns, and any of your post frame construction, because, again, we give $50 per project completed. Give yourself the gift of the barn you need and in doing so, help us to donate in your stead.
